Watch out for RATs! A Remote Access Trojan, or "RAT", gets onto your computer through phishing emails, drive-by downloads, or infected attachments. Once there, it can silently install remote control computer software to give an attacker access to your system.

If you notice apps opening randomly, new unknown software, or even unexplained keyboard or mouse activity on your home PC, contact your local IT professional to check it out. If it's happening at your business, report it to your IT department!

Ever heard of a RAT in your computer?
