A little progress update on Baba's garden! All the seeds are in and we have some amazing growth so far 🌱
The lettuce and onions are thriving 🥬 🧅 We already have pulled up a couple and enjoyed 😍
Tomatoes 🍅 are coming up nicely too!
Beans are crawling up their sticks quite beautifully and we are starting to see the tiniest little sprout from the cucumbers 🥒

Now is a good time to get outside and get after those weeks in your lawns and planting beds. When I over seed my lawns (when warm enough) I add in clover seeds. Here is a tip for your Hydrangeas. Hydrangeas are acid loving plants and the easiest way to add acid are coffee grounds! Simply work the grounds lightly into the soil around the plant(s) and watch your blooms last longer. The Colleen Pickett Team: Oakville's Preferred Realtors

Spring is here! Please resist the urge to rake your lawn as the ground has not fully thawed yet. Use spring fertilizer around the end of March then weed and feed in June. Leave your garden beds to rest until at least mid to end of April and definitely do not dig in the soil because that is where the bumble bees are wintering and will live in the same place all summer.
