THE POWER OF ONE SMALL HABIT

Let’s dive into a topic close to all of our hearts (and stomachs!) - nutrition.

It’s common for people just beginning their fitness journey to see food as the enemy.

Counting calories, trying the latest fad and restrictive diets.

We’ve all been guilty of making these beginner mistakes.

But today I want to share what a nutritionist shared with me about diets.

“It's not about eating less, it's about eating right."

That simple phrase changed everything.

Since then, I've embraced a more balanced approach to eating.

It's about nourishing your body with the right foods, not depriving it.

HERE’S SOME TIPS A NUTRITIONIST SHARED WITH ME:

Nutrition is Personal: What works for one person might not work for another. It's important to find a balance that suits your body and lifestyle.

Whole Foods are Your Friends: Focus on foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. Think fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains.

Mindful Eating: Pay attention to what you eat, how much you eat, and why you eat. Eating slowly and savoring your food can make a big difference.

Hydration is Key: Often overlooked, staying hydrated is crucial for overall health and can even help with weight management.

Enjoyment is Important: Remember, it's okay to indulge in your favorite treats in moderation. A healthy diet is a balanced diet.

So, let’s love our food and our bodies by feeding them well.

Not only will eating all the right foods help us look good but it’ll help us feel good too!

You deserve to feel fantastic inside and out!
