The March weather is here and we're starting to see a lot of freeze/thaw cycles and more snow is in the forecast. It's important to make sure the air intake and exhaust pipes for your furnace and hot water tank are kept clear. You might see ice build up around the exhaust vents - make sure it doesn't build up and block them.

Now that March is here and spring is just around the corner it's a great time to spruce up your house. I see a lot of gas fireplaces with smoky, sooty glass. These are easy to clean and really makes the fire stand out. We use a cleaner called "Invisible Glass". The glass is usually held in place by a couple of clip hinges. It can be a bit heavy so be careful when removing it. Clean away!
