Sweet Summer Pow Wow on TONIGHT!

This special Gala event includes a Pow Wow dance from Keira Chianne, of the Anishnaabe Ojibwe and Onondaga people, as well as traditional drumming from Franklyn McNaughton, who is from the Beaver Clan of The Onondoga Nation, born at Six Nations of the Grand River. A young Indigenous couple get a break from their troubled lives when they find each other through a summer of love on the Pow-Wow circuit. This screening is accompanied by an outdoor performance by Indigenous Drummer Franklyn McNaughton, Beaver Clan of The Onondoga Nation, as well as Anishnaabe Ojibwe and Onondaga Dancer, Kiera Chianne, from the Eagle Clan, who has been dancing at Pow Wows for 16 years.
